You should receive a confirmation email from us within 10 minutes. If you did not receive the confirmation email, please check your junk mail. For any further issues or concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I log into the website?
Navigate to the agenda page, you will see a "log-in" button in the upper right corner. Follow the prompts to log in. If the "log-in" button is not available, click on the star next to any session for a login prompt.
How do I update my attendee profile?
Log into the platform. In the top right corner, click your avatar and in the dropdown menu, select “Edit Profile”. Be sure to click "save" before you leave the page!
What can I do on the platform in advance of the event?
Feel free to explore the Agenda page and save sessions that you are interested in, so you can find them easily when the event goes live. You can also take advantage of the Networking page, where you can find other attendees and send private messages.
Where can I see the speakers for each session?
Navigate to the Agenda page. Under the title of each session, you will be able to see the speakers featured in each session. Click on speaker names to read their bios.
Will the sessions be billingual (English and French)?
Yes, all sessions will have live interpretation from English to French. There will also be a downloadable GLOBE Capital program available in French one week prior to the event.
How do I join a live session?
You will be able to tell if a session is live by looking for the "Join Now" icon next to the session title. Attendees will be able to join the session two minutes prior to the session start time.
Will the sessions be recorded? Can I watch it on-demand after the event?
Yes, sessions will be recorded and available for one month post-event. Typically, recordings are available about an hour after the session finished.
What should I do if I am interested in speaking or would like to suggest a session for the GLOBE Capital program?
To suggest a speaker (including yourself), fill out this form. To suggest a session, please contact email@example.com to be connected to our programming team.
What can I do on the Agenda page?
On the Agenda page, you will find the description and time of each session. Click on the star icon next to the session title to save the session.
Where can I find the sessions that I marked saved?
First, make sure you are logged into the event. Then, navigate to the Agenda page, in the centre of the page, click on "My Interests" to find your saved sessions.
Is there a way to connect with other attendees during the conference?
We know that collaboration will be critical to our individual and collective success during the transition to a clean economy. With this in mind, we've prepared three different networking opportunities for you, all included in the price of one ticket: 1. In GLOBE's signature curated matchmaking sessions, we will organize short meetings with other attendees catered to your needs. Both investor to investor and investor to innovator meetings are available. Register by March 19, 2021 and indicate your interest in curated matchmaking to take advantage of this unique offer. 2. Networking sessions are also included in the conference Agenda, allowing you to build the relationships you need to achieve your business goals. 3. Lastly, take advantage of the Networking page, found in the main menu. When you are logged in, under this tab, you'll be able to see and message all conference attendees.
What can I do on the Networking page?
The Networking page gives you a chance to meet and reconnect with your fellow GLOBE Capital attendees. Take advantage of the direct messaging feature to build relationships that last beyond the conference. Use the edit profile feature to ensure fellow attendees can learn about you and your work.
How do I edit my profile?
To edit your profile information, click on the avatar icon found on top right corner of the page. You will be able to upload a headshot, edit your job title, organization, and more!
How can I change my email settings?
You will auomatically receive an email notification when someone views your profile or requests to connect through the Networking page. You can turn off these options by clicking your avatar on the top right corner, and clicking on "Settings".
How can I see if someone sent me a request on the Networking page?
On the Networking page in the upper right corner, click on the envelope icon to see who sent you a request.
Will I still be able to access the Networking page after the event?
Yes! The Networking page will be available for one month post-event.
Which browsers work best for virtual conference sessions?
Our virtual conference platform officially supports Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Microsoft Edge (Chromium). You may be able to use other browsers, but they are not officially supported. If possible, we recommend using a device with the above-listed browsers. We also recommend you disable all pop-up blockers and ad blockers as they might interfere with the session broadcasting. Here are a few more specifics: - Windows 7 and above, running Chrome, Firefox or Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported - MacOS 10.9 or later, running Chrome and Firefox. Safari not supported - iPhone 5S or later, running iOS 11 and up - Android 4.0 or later, running Chrome"
